A number of students from Kayole South Secondary School have tested positive for alcohol, marijuana and cocaine use.
According to Deputy Principal Amos Mwangi, at least 30 out of 1200 students turned out positive for drug abuse.
Mwangi revealed that the test was necessitated by increasing cases of indiscipline following the long COVID- 19 break that kept student from school.
”We noticed some very funny behaviours from the students after the re-opening of schools and so got them tested. Out of the 1,200 students we tested 30 turned out to be positive,” said Mwangi.
