A middle-aged man has been jailed for three years by a makadara law court for stealing underwear at NYS Headquarters in Nairobi.
According to the charge sheet, Stephen Ochieng gained access into the house of Anthony Munene Njeru and stole his underwear, subwoofer, and claw hammer while he was asleep.
The Court heard that the guards who were manning the premises spotted him and raised an alarm and led to his arrest
Ochieng pleaded guilty to the burglary and handling of stolen goods before Chief Magistrate Heston Nyaga who noted that he has sentenced Ochieng for committing similar offenses and the same premise in 2016.
“He must be another Spiderman after the one who has tormented the residents of Kilimani in Nairobi only that this one can be termed as the Spiderman of NYS,” said the chief magistrate.
