The family of the late slain Athletics Champion Agnes Tirop, who conquered the 2015 Cross Country competition on Monday 18th October revealed that the burial cost will cost about Ksh 5 million.
The burial committee that includes the deceased’s family, Athletics Kenya representatives and Nandi County met at her parent’s home where fundraising was held and set aside Ksh 5 million for the burial expenses.
They also revealed that Agnes will be on Saturday 23rd October at her parents home in Nandi County.
Tirop who was found dead at her home in Iten, Elgeyo-Marakwet County, on 13 October 2021 had reconciled with her estranged husband Ibrahim Rotich a few days before she met her untimely death.
