National Assembly majority leader Amos Kimunya has threatened Kiambaa residents with dire consequences if they fail to vote in the Jubilee candidate in the upcoming by-election.
Kimunya, who is the MP for Kipipiri has stated that if the constituency votes for UDA Candidate John Njuguna, then they are in for a long spell for development starvation
“Billions of shillings set aside for developments in Kiambaa constituency to be withdrawn if the voters will not elect the Jubilee candidate Kariri Njama,” Kimunya said.
Jubilee Party has declared the Kiambaa by-election a do-or-die action that will seal the fate of the Party which is currently facing huge turbulence from the newly created United Democratic Alliance (UDA).
Their main competitor UDA has since vowed to teach Jubilee a lesson.
The Kiambaa by-election was occasioned by the death of Paul Koinange who succumbed to cancer in May this year. voters will vote for their new MP on 15th July.
