A security guard on Monday pleaded not guilty to causing disturbance after he confronted his boss over two- month salary arrears.
Isaisah Mugane who appeared before the Milimani Law Courts, allegedly confronted his boss at Guardnow Security Company’s headquarters over Sh18,000.
The prosecution told the court that the 28- year- old blocked and pointed fingers at Peter Mwangi before daring him to shoot him with his pistol.
The accused however said that he had stepped into the office and had to wait at the reception because the boss had not reported to work.
“When the boss arrived, he passed by him and went to his office. When he came from his office, he asked me how much my salary was and I insisted I won’t leave without it because my landlord had locked me out of my house,” he said.
According to Mugane, his boss however called the police on him instead of paying his dues.
The accused was released on Sh10,000 bond or Sh5,000 cash bail.
