National assembly speaker Justin Bedan Muturi has today expressed his wholehearted willingness to fill the vacuum after Uhuru leaves office in 2022.

Speaking at a fellowship with over 200 members of the clergy drawn from the Pentecostal churches in Embu County in his local home in Kanyuombora, Muturi used the forum to publicize his bid.

While addressing members of the clergy, Muturi outlined his agenda and desire to fix the country after he hopefully takes over the presidency after the hotly-anticipated 2022 general elections.

He urged the religious leaders to pray incessantly so that in the coming general elections, God may transformative leaders whose goal is to serve with inherent patriotism.

Muturi boldly reiterated that his quest to capture the presidency is unstoppable.

Before and after his controversial coronation last month in the Agikuyu shrine in Murang’a, Muturi has been busy holding consecutive meetings and taking baby steps towards the bid.

He is currently keen to cement his position as the region’s supremo which will in turn will give him an upper hand during round table negotiations to front a candidate from the vote-rich mount Kenya region.

A section of leaders from the region have already regarded the 64 year old speaker as a safe pair of hands to bring the community together amid push and pull caused by over-ambitious William Ruto who is also keen to succeed his boss.
