Popular Kenyan R&B Singer Jacob Obungu well known by his stage name as Otile Brown has finally buried their differences with his former Manager Dr.Eddie and they are again working together.
In a short video shared on his Instagram page, Dr. Eddie is seen together with Otile brown in the location and announced that they are working on a new music video.
Otile Brown parted ways with Dreamland Music Management under Dr. Eddie in 2017 an act that forced him to establish himself as an independent artist.
The Chaguo langu hit market noted that the main reason that triggered his departure from Dr. Eddie’s owned Label was a breach of contract.
According to Otile Brown way back in 2018, he was not getting a weekly allowance of Ksh.10,000, house, rent, and clothing as it was signed in the contract.
“My contract with Docta Eddie stated that I am supposed to get 50% of the revenues collected from the songs and show I was doing with under his wings. The contract also demands that I get a weekly allowance of 10,000, food, house rent, and clothing are among other things, but surprisingly the management never provided that,” Otile brown in 2018.
Dr. Eddie had also restricted Otile Brown from using or performing all the songs he recorded for Otile while under his record label.
