President Samia Suluhu To Visit Kenya

Tanzania President Samia Suluhu is expected to be in Nairobi for a two-day state visit from tomorrow 4th May-6th May 2021.


Through a statement that was shared on Sunday 2nd May by the State House spokesperson Kanze Dena, She said that President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to receive her at the State House in Nairobi Kenya.

“Her Excellency @SuluhuSamia, President of the United Republic of Tanzania will arrive in the country on Tuesday, 4th May 2021 for a two-day State Visit to the Republic of Kenya”.

“President Uhuru Kenyatta will receive his Tanzania counterpart at State House, Nairobi on the same day. Other details of Her Excellency’s visit will be shared in due course. Kanze Dena Mararo Spokesperson” Her statement read.


This will be her second official visit as the President Of Tanzania after she recently travelled to Uganda where she sealed an East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) project is worth $3.5bn (Ksh375 billion) deal with the Ugandan government.

This is a project that was supposed to have been sealed by 22nd March but it was delayed after the death of former Tanzania President John Magufuli Pombe.

President Samia Suluhu became the first Tanzania female President on March 19th 2021 after John Magufuli died from heart failure.
