The 46-year old father of two who runs a successful tours and safaris company on a global scale took to his social media pages to share his humble situation back in the day while studying at Egerton University.
Kabu revealed that he was about to drop out due to financial constraints but secured a looked down a job of tout to raise some funds to facilitate his study.
Through his inspirational social media post, Kabu noted that it took him working 18 hours, 6 days a week and for over one year to raise the required money and later re-enrolled at the prestigious Egerton University.
The graduate of economics and statistics has over the years risen through the social ladder to become a member of the coveted millionaires club.
Today, Kabu is undoubtedly one of the country’s most notable business persons who is looked up to by thousands of Kenyans and the international community.
