Controversial Kikuyu singer Ben Githae has indicated that he has already composed a campaign hit song for ODM leader and 2022 presidential aspirant Raila Odinga.

Speaking in a conference where President Uhuru Kenyatta’s handshake partner was meeting a section of ODM delegates in Kwale, Githae teased the audience with a line of the song.

I am the one who said ‘tano tena’ and ‘wembe ni ule ule’ but now we have changed the song and we are saying ‘Baba tosha’ Githae told the audience before singing part of the song

This is not the first time Githae has expressed his support for the former Prime Minister ahead of next year’s General Elections.

In mid-October, the Benga artist disclosed that he was already warming up to the studio for Odinga and was just waiting for President Kenyatta’s endorsement.

I am a staunch supporter of Uhuru, if he says I support Raila, I will support him

The Tano Tena hitmaker had previously denied that he was a supporter of the ODM boss and that his attendance at the politician’s meetings was due to specific contexts.

This came following heavy criticism after he was pictured with Odinga at an event in Murang’a during the Skiza thanksgiving ceremony.

I saw people trolling me the other day after I was photographed with Raila Odinga. Some claimed that I have moved to support him but, what they didn’t know was the context of our meeting,

However, his latest activities show that Githae is already settled in Odinga’s camp and will not be issuing any apology to a section of his followers who might criticize him.

He previously became a subject of ridicule after netizens blamed him for singing them into Jubilee’s economic troubles with his ‘Tano Tena’ hit.

However, he remained adamant that he had no regrets and that Kenyans had themselves to blame.
