We Are Tired Of Being Used

A few weeks ago, President Uhuru Kenyatta embarked on a four days Journey to Mount Kenya region to drum support for the Building Bridges Initiate (BBI) after receiving news from his people that the initiative was not popular in his backyard.

Uhuru meeting with different leaders from Central, He later held another meeting with the MCAS and after listening to their demands, He accepted to give all the ward representatives car grants of about Ksh 2 million which will be about Ksh 5 billion.

So, In a country that has been struggling to fight a world pandemic, A country that cannot afford to pay its doctors or even to afford a simple PPE.

I don’t really understand what is happening to our beloved country, But we have definitely lost the track and we are trading on a very perilous path.

Where are our priorities? Where are the pledges that the Jubilee government promised us when they were campaigning?

Even the Big Four Agenda that the president had talked about is not close to what they’re discussing now. They are running this country onto its knees. People are suffering, The common Mwananchi is struggling to pay the taxes that are imposed on them every day.

When are we going to say enough is enough? When are we going to stop being used by these people who do not care about our well being?

Why are we even listen to people who would rather buy cars to MCA’s to support an initiative that will not help us or even our offsprings in future?

We are tired, We are tired of listening to Tanga Tanga or Kieleweke, We want jobs, We want good Health Care, We want good road networks. We want a country that will be proud of.
