Kesses MP Swarup Mishra Ranjan, alias Kiprop Arap Chelule has castigated individuals calling on him to relocate to his motherland of India.

Mishra had controversially tweeted a day before the Kiambaa constituency by-election on 15th July, stating that should UDA wins in the Kiambaa by-election, he will relocate to his motherland of India.

Boom! the UDA man then won the by-election

The Legislator, a Kenyan with Indian roots, is being scolded by a section of leaders mainly from Uasin Gishu county. The leaders are reportedly joking with his tweet by asking him to ”honor his words”.

But the firebrand MP said he is here to stay, telling those criticizing him that he would rather lose his seat than going back to Punjab, India, where his motherland county is.

“don’t tell me to go to India. I am not an Indian citizen. People are telling me to go to Punjab. An MP from Uasin Gishu asked me to leave; how? I may lose my seat, don’t give me your votes”. The MP was quoted saying.

The first time Mp won the Kesses parliamentary seat in 2017 on jubilee party Ticket after beating the then MP James Bett.

Mishra is a medical doctor by profession and the owner of the Mediheal group of the hospital.
